Dr. Jinhong Liu, a Registered Chinese Physician and Acupuncturist in Ontario, serves as Academic Dean and Professor at John Jane College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Dean of John Jane Hospital and Director of TCM Center, John Jane Hospital. Dr. Liu also appointed as a Visiting Professor and International PhD program mentor at Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine.

Dr. Liu graduated from Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine and Shanghai University of Chinese Medicine, and was awarded Bachelor and Master degree in Acupuncture and Moxibustion, He then received his PhD in Internal Medicine from Zhejiang University of Chinese Medicine. Since 1988, he has been practicing of acupuncture and moxibustion in traditional Chinese medicine for the past 30 years. He is specialized in the treatment of cancers, pains and gynecological disorders with unique acupuncture and medicine combined with targeted therapy.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Liu was a Principal Investigator of "Chinese Medicine Targeted Therapy Research" project supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Zhejiang Medical and Health Excellent Talent Fund. Dr. Liu is the editor-in-chief of "John Jane's Acupuncture and Medicine" and has served as executive member in over 10 professional associations. Dr. Liu has over 60 publications in peer-reviewed  journals in Chinese and English.
