Dr. Amir Hooman Kazemi is trained in Western Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine in Iran and China. He obtained his M.D. from Lorestan University of Medical Sciences (LUMS), Iran, and Clinical Ph.D. of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, China. He is a postdoctoral fellow of Acupuncture and Chinese medicine. 

 

Dr. Amir Hooman Kazemi is a Professor of Beijing University of Chinese medicine and the Vice President of the World Federation of Acupuncture. Dr. Hooman is an Assistant Professor of Tehran University of Medical Sciences. He is an Advisor for complementary medicine and international affairs of traditional medicine Vice Ministry of Health of Iran. Prof. Hooman teaches acupuncture and Chinese medicine courses for international students from more than 50 countries in Beijing University of Chinese medicine and Tehran University of Medical Sciences. He is invited as keynote speaker on Acupuncture in several countries such as China, Iran, USA, Spain, Austria, Portugal, Netherlands, Turkey, Oman, and Russia.

Dr. Hooman authored 5 books in English and Chinese about acupuncture and 6 Books in the Persian language about acupuncture and Chinese medicine. Dr. Hooman is sitting on editorial board of World Journal of Acupuncture, Journal of Chinese Medicine.
