Dr. Yuan is Chief Physician and Professor of Pediatrics at Chengdu University of Chinese Medicine. Dr. Yuan is a recipient of China State Council Special Subsidy Expert, and recognized as the sixth batch of National Veteran TCM Experts as Mentors Training Talents for the Succession of TCM Expertise, and she is Sichuan Province Outstanding TCM Physician. Dr. Yuan is also entitled Sichuan Provincial TCM academic scientific leader.

Dr. Yuan also serves as Vice President of Sichuan Acupuncture and Moxibustion Society, Chairman of the Sichuan Provincial Clinical Acupuncture Committee.

Dr. Yuan was visiting scholar with government fellowship for academic exchange program in several countries and regions.

Dr. Yuan has been actively involved in clinical practice, teaching and scientific research for more than 30 years.  Dr. Yuan's expertise is specialized at acupuncture and Chinese medicine for the treatment of encephalopathy and pain disorders such as stroke, headache, dizziness, dementia, insomnia, facial paralysis, cervical spondylosis and Lumbar Herniated Disc.
